Liturgy - Liturgia

When we speak of the word "liturgy" we refer to the people's prayer, that is to say, that the manifestation of God's grace is conveyed through the communal act of work or worship made by the people of God. In the Liturgy, the faithful are engaged in proclaiming the Word of God as one community. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says: "The Liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; it is also the font from which all her power flows. It is therefore the privileged place for catechizing the People of God" (CCC 1074).
